Air frying Delta Pride catfish is a fantastic way to enjoy this delicious and crispy dish with a fraction of the oil traditionally used in frying. Air frying works by circulating hot air around the food, creating a crispy exterior similar to deep frying but with much less oil, making it a healthier alternative.

When air frying catfish, it’s important to preheat the air fryer to ensure even cooking and a crispy texture. Patting the catfish dry and seasoning it before breading helps the breading adhere better and adds flavor to the fish. Coating the catfish in a light layer of cooking spray before air frying helps to achieve a crispy and golden-brown crust.

Cooking times may vary depending on the size and thickness of the catfish fillets, but a general guideline is to cook them at 400°F for about 10 minutes on each side. It’s always a good idea to check for doneness by using a meat thermometer; the internal temperature should reach 165°F.

Air-fried catfish is not only healthier but also incredibly flavorful and retains its natural juices. Serve it with your favorite sides and dipping sauces for a delightful meal that’s sure to impress!
