Ingredients
2 Tbs. garlic powder
2 Tbs. salt
2 Tbs. paprika [some choose smoked paprika]
1 Tbs. onion powder
1 Tbs. black pepper
1 Tbs. dried oregano
1 Tbs. dried thyme
1 tsp. cayenne pepper, or to taste
Assemble this seasoning mix ahead of time and keep stored in a sealed container.
Instructions
This is a fabulous seasoning mix for Delta Pride Catfish, whether you cook it in the oven, stove-top in a black iron skillet, or on the grill.
- Drizzle your fish with a little olive oil or melted butter.
- Sprinkle the oiled/buttered fish with desired amount of seasoning mix.
- Always cook your Delta Pride Catfish to an internal temperature of 165˚.
- In the Oven, bake for about 25 minutes.
For stove-top in a black iron skillet, or on the grill, that would be about four minutes per side beginning with the skin side of the fish down first.
